The MTV Awards Disaster's

Sarah Silverman hosted the show and was quite nasty.

Justin Timberlake and Rihanna were the big winners last night. There’s actually a rumour going around that they left together and Justin’s girlfriend Jessica Biel was looking everywhere for him.
Here are the winners:

--Best Male Artist of the Year: Justin Timberlake
--Best Female Artist of the Year: Fergie
--Best New Artist: Gym Class Heroes
--Best Group: Fall Out Boy
--Most Earth-Shattering Collaboration: Beyoncé and Shakira, "Beautiful Liar"
--Quadruple Threat of the Year: Justin Timberlake (--This is awarded to an artist who's big not only in music. . . but also in other areas like dance, fashion, acting and philanthropy… Philanthropy is the act of donating money, goods, time, or effort to support a charitable cause, usually over an extended period of time and in regard to a defined objective.)
--Monster Single of the Year: "Umbrella", Rihanna (featuring Jay-Z)
--Best Directing in a Video: Justin Timberlake, "What Goes Around. . ."
--Best Editing in a Video: Gnarls Barkley, "Smiley Faces"
--Best Choreography in a Video: Justin Timberlake (featuring Timbaland), "SexyBack"

The most exciting thing to happen all night was when Pamela Anderson’s ex husbands, Tommy lee and Kid rock, got into some fisticuffs!! They’ve hated each other ever since Kid started dating, and eventually married Pammy.
Tommy was sitting at a table with P. Diddy. Kid Rock was supposed to introduce the show's final performance with Puffy, and as Kid made his way toward their table, Tommy Lee started giving him shit.
Nobody knows what exactly Tommy said, but it was enough to cause Kid Rock to backhand Tommy Lee in the face.
Tommy tried to fight back but didn't actually land any punches. Kid Rock punched Tommy face before security stepped in and pulled them apart.

You can see some of the fight here. Note that Kid Rock manages to keep his cigar in his mouth the whole time he and Tommy Lee are going at each other. . .

Kanye West is not happy about losing all 5 categories he was nominated in. He threw a tantrum in front of the media as the show was ending, shouting, "that's two years in a row, I'm trying hard man, I have the number one record. I will never return to MTV". He also attacked MTV for choosing Britney Spears to open the show, saying "nobody gives a f-k about britney. I should have opened the MTV Awards. I have the #1 song in the country. Maybe they feel like they'll get more ratings with Britney, but you saw her, she sucked"...
